about

Hi, I'm Madeleine
Blogger, creative nomad, book search
This blog is about the Adventure travelCourage, freedom and the little moments that change everything. This is about: Explore the world with open eyesEven if you are not perfectly prepared and get to know yourself again and again.
I believe in a world where Travel is more than postcards and sunsets – namely an invitation to grow beyond oneself.
A world where people Just go aheadEven if they have no idea where the road leads.
And to a world where life sometimes just says, "Just do it." You will find the rest on the way out.
Therefore Travel and write I do.
Because traveling has shown me, How much courage there is in small steps.
Because writing reminds me, how far I have come.
And because traveling has taught me that It doesn’t take much to be happy.
On my blog you will not find luxury resorts or glossy pictures (there are enough Instagram for that) 😉)
This is about True adventures – about this First hostel that smells weirder than thought, to Taco Overdose in Mexico City, and about the You can also get through life with Google Translate.
You get here Authentic stories, honest travel tips and practical guidesAs you even without much money, experience or language skills You can discover the world.
Whether you are planning your first work & travel, travelling alone or simply curious about life outside – here you will find inspiration, courage and a lot of wanderlust to take with you.

Actually, Traveling around the world never really planned. I just wanted to capture during my first trip, How this all happened – how I started without a plan, but with a lot of curiosity. A few notes became a blog, the blog became a passion. Today I write to share my experiences, inspire others – and show that You don’t have to be rich to discover the world.. Above all, the trip and Mexico in particular taught me that Slowly the new is fast and that Patience is often rewarded..
I would like to Living everywhere Try as much as possible of life.
So I was already German teacher in Mexico, Dog Trainer for Huskies in Sweden and Riding instructor in Austria – ganz ohne „professionelle“ Ausbildung. Reiten konnte ich schon vorher, über das Goethe-Institut habe ich mir mit einem Fernlehrgang beigebracht, wie man Kindern unter 6 Jahren die deutsche Sprache beibringt und das Leben und arbeiten mit Huskys habe ich vor Ort gelernt.
I am spontaneous, minimalist and always with one Buch, meistens von Paulo Coelho, im Rucksack unterwegs.
Ich liebe es zu lesen, ich liebe Mochis (vielleicht ein bisschen zu sehr 😅) und bin am glücklichsten, wenn ich draußen in der Natur bin.
I laugh a lot, think positively and meet people with empathy – because that is exactly the core of travel for me: Encounters, stories and small momentsThey keep changing my view of the world.
